Strong contractions but not dilating :(
today I am 36 wks n 6days woke up this morning with excruciating bk pains that would not let up no matter how I turned or moved. Felt lk menstral cramps that were n my bk and lower abdomen, n urge to use the bathroom n pinkish discharge.so I called ob got appt n they monitored me n sent me to l&d triage bc my contractions were 3-5min apart but when they checked me they said I was only fingertip dialated. Baby is engaged n I can feel her moving n my pelvis.So they kept me for hr n rechecked me no change to my cervix but contraction still strong so they Gv me terbutaline to stop my contractions which didn't stop them at all!so they let me go home bc no change n my cervix.so now idk when to call doc bc I'm still having contractions ! This is my sec child my first one I was induced at 37wks bc water broke spontaneous but nvr had normal contractions. Is there anything I can do to help start dilating n how far apart should I call doc or get worried bout active labor????!
Lucky lady! I've been in early labor going on 6 days now and they won't give me a THING. Contractions have been 3-5 minutes apart lasting over a minute for days. They keep checking me telling me I'm not dilated enough and sending me home. They won't do anything else unless they see its medically necessary until next week.
They wanted to stop my contractions but my doctor just opted to give me piticon instead to help my labor along I want from 1cm to 5cm in a matter of hrs.

Same thing is happening to me, but I'm 39wks 2days. I was told to go home get rest and take a hot bath, or go walking. I'm still cintracting! I'm really hoping my water will break soon
