blood pressure and being imduced

My whole pregnancy my blood pressure has been fine but the past few days it has been higher than normal. I will be 39 weeks on Sunday, due the 23rd. I find out on the 20th if I will be induced or not based on my blood pressure. I have not had any complications. Baby is low,  contractions are strong but irregular. But my blood pressure will be what determines if I will be induced or not. My doctor doesn't think my blood pressure will go back down and believes it will continue to raise.

Thanks. It's usually 120/80 so it's not too high.

The 12th I met with my prescriber for my mental health couseling and had my vitals taken and my blood pressure was a little higher than normal. It was 140/81 and yesterday at my doctor's appointment it was 142/90. But for the most part I haven't had a problem with my blood pressure and my doctor knows I am very active that is why he wants to wait a week.

I'm surprised they aren't having you induced knowing its been high for a few days. My sisinlaw was sent to labor and delivery immediately when they noticed hers was high. Are they going to checku before the 20th? I mean that is 6 days away...
