I am currently 37 weeks & 4 days, & was wondering if it safe to get waxed at 39 weeks?

I'm an esthetician and we don't reccommend waxing that far along. It can be risky for infections like the other girl said. There may be chance of already losing your plug and what not plus its very sensitive down there. It's best to try to shave what you can very carefully

I was curious about the same thing...before I got pregnant,I shaved but now I barely can see sooo I don't want to cut myself.I just don't like the feeling of hair down there

There's a posting at the hospital in which I attend appointments that say you shouldn't shave or wax after 36 weeks because it increases the chances of infection.

I wouldn't wait that long.  I'd go next week. Don't want your lady parts sore if you go early. They're gonna be sore enough afterwards.
