pregnant and nursing

Is anyone else pregnant and still nursing their older child. My daughter is almost 14 months and nurses quite frequently. I think its going to make us both very sad when our milk turns into colstrom. I cry just thinking about it.

I am 18 weeks pregnant and just starting to wean my one year old daughter. Im only nursing in the morning and before bedtime And she's started to drink whole milk during the day. It has surprisingly happened quite naturally... I feel ready to stop and am happy I was able to nurse her for the first Year. Good luck!

My sister nursed her first son throughout her second pregnancy and after the baby was born and a long time after that.  Colostrum is apparently delicious.  You won't have to stop if you don't want to, it is certainly no problem for kid #1 to drink colostrum when no longer an infant, unless you think the second child is going hungry.

I do plan on tandem nursing but just sad the thought of my milk going away when neither of us going see it coming.or having to stop nursing if it makes the chances of premature birth higher. My first was 5 weeks early and ao far doctor said its perfectly fine but like 22 weeks i should stop. Thats going to come up fast
