I don't want my mother in law or anyone kiss my baby's mouth

I don't think is hygienic . My mother on law kisses my nephews mouth all the time . And is kind of annoying  plus she face him down on her lap . I won't allow her to do that with my son .. I really like and respect her but o have my limited  and restrictions.  What do you think ladies  . Do you like people in your family relatives be kissing your new born babies ? .

Yes beautiful ladies  .. I just can't tolerate . I think is gross . I think it's cultural  from her country  coz she still kiss my husband  her son's and brothers and dogs and cats so come on . That's nasty . I just can't allow that . And I'm going to be  pretty blunt with her to get thing right . She knows  I'm nice but I got my attitude  I'm though . I agree with you ladies.

@Erica- I think it is all in how someone was raised ya know. I think if you grow up where family kisses on the mouth it wouldn't be weird...and the ones that don't would think it was weird. I think your right that its totally on how you grew up. My family didn't do that at all so that probably why unlike weird lol :)

However, it is still odd that ppl are kissing a child on the mouth that is not their own.

ETA: Actually, 90% of adults have exposure to HSV1, which causes cold sores.

I don't know maybe for me it's a cultural thing but if it's family I don't find it gross.
