How ready is everyone?

hey all...well I haven't posted much on here, but was just curious about everyone's readiness.....my baby shower is this Tue and I am due for my c section on Sep. 10 and I don't really have ANYTHING done.  I have clothes for her, and I have the baby detergent, but not sure if it is too soon  to wash her clothes.  I have always been the type of person to put things off till the last minute so this was I have things to do when it gets really close and I don't drive myself crazy with anticipation, but was just curious where everyone else was in this area!

Wow! How cool! We are having our c sections the same day hun!! I am in the same boat. We dont have anything yet, except a pack n play with the bassinett for her to sleep in, and a couple other furniture items, for her, and a few clothes. My boss keeps asking me if I have gotten anything else for her, and she gets worried when I tell her no. I told her I was waiting to see what we get at the baby shower so we know what else we need to get.
So I guess I am only sorta ready too, and I need to get on the ball soon, cause McKenzi will be here the same day your little one will be.
Oh, I am now on 150 mg of ZOloft to keep me from being so depressed and stressed out, and it is helping a ton. I am really glad my doc put me on it. Thank you for the help when I was asking about it before. It has made a world of difference in how well I have been handling life in general. Its nice to feel normal again.

I'm a big-time planner... although I am also a procrastinator, when it's come to this baby, I've wanted everything done months in advance!  =)  I insisted that all the baby furniture be bought and set up in the nursery months ago (we had it done some time in June).  I think we're pretty much ready supply-wise... we got tons of baby outfits at the baby showers (family and co-workers threw us seperate ones) and the nursery is set, but I know there are so many things that I'm forgetting about that we won't realize until after the baby is born.  I actually need to pack my hospital bag this weekend since I'm due in 3 weeks (give or take).  But I just can't wait to meet my little baby girl... like babydreams, I know I'm going to miss having her moving around in my belly and feeling so close with her, but it'll be so much better to see her little face and get to hold her after all this time.  I can't wait!

Glad to see we're all pretty much on the same page.... We are more mentally ready than product-wise. We have the nursery pretty much set up - crib, dresser/changing table, diapers, clothes, blankets, etc.... What we don't have are the carseat/carrier/stroller and the bassinet, and a few other items. We plan to get those next weekend. I will feel a lot better after having those big things!! I plan to pack my hospital bag in the next couple weeks. I am getting soooooo excited and sooooo anxious, and VERY much ready to not be pregnant anymore! lol don't get me wrong, I've loved most of it and I will miss having him in my belly all the time.... but it's getting to be so uncomfortable now and I am so ready to get my body back. And I just can't wait to meet him and hold him and see what he looks like! :)

Well, I have my top drawer in my dresser filled with baby things.. all in order and such.
I have the diaper bag packed, but I'm about to be moving here in the next 3 weeks!

So i'm REALLY hoping I can get things done quickly when it comes to preparing. If he were born in the next 2 weeks theres no way in heck I'd be ready!  But then again... I can't wait til I have him here!. :)
