Well, I have my top drawer in my dresser filled with baby things.. all in order and such.
I have the diaper bag packed, but I'm about to be moving here in the next 3 weeks!
So i'm REALLY hoping I can get things done quickly when it comes to preparing. If he were born in the next 2 weeks theres no way in heck I'd be ready! But then again... I can't wait til I have him here!. :)
i have pretty much everything set. the babys room is done, diapers and wipes are ready... I just bought a baby monitor...cribs up... i just have to wash the sheets and blanket... i have a few onesies and sleepers.... i desperately need to buy some more. my baby shower isnt until after the baby is born... but i think i pretty much have all i need. oh... i need to get a good diaper bag too.... i should probably get on that! lol
Glad to see we're all pretty much on the same page.... We are more mentally ready than product-wise. We have the nursery pretty much set up - crib, dresser/changing table, diapers, clothes, blankets, etc.... What we don't have are the carseat/carrier/stroller and the bassinet, and a few other items. We plan to get those next weekend. I will feel a lot better after having those big things!! I plan to pack my hospital bag in the next couple weeks. I am getting soooooo excited and sooooo anxious, and VERY much ready to not be pregnant anymore! lol don't get me wrong, I've loved most of it and I will miss having him in my belly all the time.... but it's getting to be so uncomfortable now and I am so ready to get my body back. And I just can't wait to meet him and hold him and see what he looks like! :)
I'm a big-time planner... although I am also a procrastinator, when it's come to this baby, I've wanted everything done months in advance! =) I insisted that all the baby furniture be bought and set up in the nursery months ago (we had it done some time in June). I think we're pretty much ready supply-wise... we got tons of baby outfits at the baby showers (family and co-workers threw us seperate ones) and the nursery is set, but I know there are so many things that I'm forgetting about that we won't realize until after the baby is born. I actually need to pack my hospital bag this weekend since I'm due in 3 weeks (give or take). But I just can't wait to meet my little baby girl... like babydreams, I know I'm going to miss having her moving around in my belly and feeling so close with her, but it'll be so much better to see her little face and get to hold her after all this time. I can't wait!
my boyfriend keeps threating that if i dont pack my hospital bag that hes going to pack one for me and i WONT like what he puts in there! i still have to get the crib from the open arms place, but dont have a truck to transport it, i dont have a bassinet yet, i do have a carseat.... and my dad and stepmom have a swing bouncy seat bathtub and all her clothes for me but they keep forgetting to bring them to my house.....
i dont have anywhere to put her clothes... and cant afford a dresser, i have one bag of diapers and one thing of wipes... basiclly i dont have jack!
not for lack of trying but the failed baby shower than me being poor on top of things....
im praying when my mom comes from florida shell be able to help get some more stuff before the babies born but im really worried!
hey hon... i wouldnt worry that you dont have everything yet.... it will all fall into place and come together. as long as the baby has clothes, diapers, food and you.... she'll be fine.
Wow! How cool! We are having our c sections the same day hun!! I am in the same boat. We dont have anything yet, except a pack n play with the bassinett for her to sleep in, and a couple other furniture items, for her, and a few clothes. My boss keeps asking me if I have gotten anything else for her, and she gets worried when I tell her no. I told her I was waiting to see what we get at the baby shower so we know what else we need to get.
So I guess I am only sorta ready too, and I need to get on the ball soon, cause McKenzi will be here the same day your little one will be.
Oh, I am now on 150 mg of ZOloft to keep me from being so depressed and stressed out, and it is helping a ton. I am really glad my doc put me on it. Thank you for the help when I was asking about it before. It has made a world of difference in how well I have been handling life in general. Its nice to feel normal again.
I'm a bit ready... LOL. I still need to wash everything and pack my own hospital bags. As far as having her stuff ready, I have everything and it is all ready.
Hey there girl, havent talke to you in a while. How are you doing these days? Are you uncomfortable, or doing well with this last month?
i STILL havent bought a diaper bag yet... i should really get on that. im trying to find the perfect one. its not easy!! lol
