Preterm labor

Hi, I spent Sunday morning and Monday morning in the hospital to stop contractions. Only 34 weeks. My cervix was last checked on Monday and was given medication to control contactions.  All contractions stopped, now after 60 hours since my cervix was checked I have alot of spotting and mucous.  Could this be the start of labor?  My first child was induced so I never experienced alot of the symptoms of labor.

hi there i actully went through the same thing you went through last friday i spent about 12hrs at the hospital with contractions only 3min apart for about 9 of those hrs then they gave me and iv and shot to stop my contractions cuz im ony 34wks also and they checked my cervix 4 times the first time they did it they mad me bleed and then from there everytime they did it i was bleeding so they said its because my cervix is kinda high and about 95% effaced so its very sensetive(sp) and when i went home i also notcied the spotting for about 4 days or so. i think its normal after you've been checked for dialation i wasnt dialated at all just effaced...where you dialated do you know??? at my doc apt today she said that they have to try to get me to go at least 3 more weeks and i have to avoid  intercousre and stuff cuz they dont want me dialating yet. and having sex can put me into labor...but as far as the spotting and mucus id say its normal unless your contractions come back.
