Baby name disagreement

Ok so this is my husband's 1st child I have 2 kids from a previous marriage so I thought well ill let him have all the fun n let him pick what he wants from picking the baby's stuff to names to dates for ultrasound etc. He was happy. I told him I didn't want to know the sex cuz it didn't matter to me just if it was a girl I would pick the 1st name he would pick the middle name but if it's a boy he can pick both. He gave me a list of 6 boys name n 6 girl names a few weeks ago. N boy did I mess up.. He is all into Greek mythology n pick the names from there. I can't even pronounced half of them n the ones I can they r just so horrible.  I started laughing when he showed me the list but it just hurt his feelings. N he remind me that I agreed for him to pick the names.. so he said those were the 2 list for meet to choose. Honestly, I just don't see me calling my baby something like "Loki  Theseus".. how can I make him (my hubby) understand lol

Good advise I'll start looking into to type of names he likes.  N suggest some to him. N yes he did have Loki  theseus that's actually the better one of the list. Let me look for the list n I'll post the names.

Loki is the god of mischief,  which I think is a great name.  Can you shorten one of the names or change the spelling?
I know two people named thor, one man and one woman, and I've always loved than name too

Look for other Greek names that you like and redirect him to those. Theseus is cool though.

Loki was Norse anyway.  Was he really on the list?  That's not the best god to name your kid after.  I do like Theseus, though, what a great character from mythology.  You can always go with a nickname.

I actually know a boy named loki. And  always assumed it was short for laughlan. Haha. Maybe you could look into the types of names he likes and hint towards a different direction.

Loki doesn't seem so bad, just another spelling of Lachie...
