Mother Advice..

My mother lives out of state, she and my two sisters plan on coming out here to see my daughter in a few weeks. My mom is extreamly disrespectful to me, my husband, and all other family members on both sides. She had an affair and left my dad five years ago and has refused to let him see my sisters since even though he has never done anything wrong. She wants to stay at my house and I told her she can but my dad is still welcome at my house and she has no right to stop him from coming over. Then continued on to tell me Im already screwing up my daughter even though she isnt even born yet and how bad she feels for her having me as a parent. Ive decided that I no longer want her arpund me or my family until she can learn to respect me and my choices. Even though she is only here for a week Ive denied her being able to see my child. Is it wrong of my to stop her even though she treats everyone the way she does?

I don't know how  your dad does not have the right to see your sisters.  Has he gone to court and fought her unilateral decision to keep the girls away?

Don't disagree with you not wanting her around.   She sounds kind of mentally ill.

Thats just wrong why would she be acting like that she is grown and you are doing the right thing dnt stress over it is not worth it. And ur babys health is more important at this time

Not at all. If she is going to be evilly and mentally abusive u have no need for her. I'm sorry she is that way towards u. But do not allow negative ppl ti ruin the beautiful moments u share with ur daughter.
