3 years is the max age difference for cases like these.
Being 15, you're too far apart from his age to be legal. I wouldn't put him on there, because he would likely get in trouble for it. If you were 17, it would be different, but since you're only 15, it is technically considered rape, no matter who approves of the relationship. Just don't do it.
Im 17 & my boyfriend just turned 19.. im wondering the same exact thing
Talk to a lawyer! I'm sure there are plenty of law forums for California law that you could get a little bit of advice from. Either that, or one of your friends or family members knows someone that can give you some advice. A divorce lawyer would probably be able to send you down the right path. They handle more than just that. I'm sure you know someone that got a divorce who might be able to hook you up.Good luck. Don't just risk it. Find out for sure from someone that it's their job to know.
Omg really !? @kris10_ that brings some relief to me but that was 7 years ago u know how some laws change:/
You do not have to worry. I live in Cali. My fiance was only 17 and I was 23. He lied to me about his age in case anyone was wondering.. and his mom and entire family went along with it. I got pregnant and we put him on the birth certificate with no issue. The hospital does not care. Nor was I scared that I was gonna be arrested for rape. I found out he was under age the month b4 I was due. And we are still together 7 years later.. its fine don't stress.
