What do yall think about the name Ryder? For a boy

I personally love the name, and have finally gotten my fiance to agree that we will use it for our son. Everyone we mention it to loves the name. However, I came across some comments with a lot of people saying it sounds low class, and like a porn star. Also, saying he would get made fun of. I feel it's a bit ridiculous to say it sounds like a porn star, but I can't control what other people think about it. I like it because it's original.

That's my cousins name. I think it's cute. My cousin is handsome, plays every sport, he's funny, he's smart, doesn't get made fun of. He's an awesome boy. Lol. Im just saying.

I used to know someone who owned a stud dog, and he named him Red Rider, because of using him for stud services.  It's kind of a low-class joke, I guess.  There was also a Bond girl named Honey Ryder, I think.  But probably your child will not get masses and masses of teasing, even if someone thinks of the double meaning once in a while.  It's not like you're proposing to name him Long D ong Stud Hitler Johnson or anything.

I love it. Ryder was a top choice for me in boy names. If i had a boy, I'd be using that for his middle name.  I think it's Edgy and adorable. F everyone that doesn't like it.
