I am going to be breast feeding so i know im limited to bc options... i cant use condoms they hurt me really bad (i think im illergic or somethin). I got prego on the pill so i am so not doing that, what are other forms a breast feeding momma can use? how effective is it? did u get pregnant on it? how long does it last? side effects?

Absolutely no truth at all...I fell pregnant twice while breastfeeding. I wasnt using it as contraception though we weren't on anything for contraception  at the time.

You still have some options:
Iud: hormonal vs non-hormonal
Mirena and skyla vs paragard
Mirena is good for 5 yrs and skyla is good for 3 yrs. Problem with skyla is the hormone dose is very low so you tend to have breakthrough bleeding often. I personally would not recommend the paragard due to the fact that this particular Iud tends to migrate out of place quite often. It's something that you would have to  have checked often and listen to your body. Because there is no hormones, bleeding tends to be heavier. Because of the heavier bleeding there is an increased risk for expelling the iud.  it is good for 10 yrs though.
Another option is the Nexplanon. This is a little rod about 1.5 inches long inserted in the arm in between the two muscles. It's the easiest procedure ever and practically painless. You will have a mild local anesthetic thus feel nothing after that. There are no restrictions with lifting after 3 days. It is good for 3 yrs. Some people have breakthrough bleeding with this but there's a pill they can give you to regulate. Most times for those that are breastfeeding, they have no bleeding on both the Mirena and Nexplanon. The Nexplanon in my opinion is nice because you do not have to worry about correct placement like you would for the iud. Essure (the coils) is a Permanent birth control that is inserted into your fallopian  tubes. I do not personally recommend  this option. I have seen a plentiful amount of them fail. The depo shot is another option. This is an injection either in your arm or side of your thigh every 3 mos. Some people do well with this others gain a ton of weight. There should be no periods on this either. Just know any time you go on a new hormone your periods will be irregular for 3-4 mos. They regulate once your body adjusts. Breastfeeding usually eliminates this adjustment but not always. Last option is a tubal ligation but again this is a permanent method.
Hope this helps :-)

Also with the Paraguard it to my knowledge does not cause a miscarriage.  My first one fell out and we had a surprise baby girl. I can't do the natural charting as I do not have the time or patience for it. So the 10 yr paraguard works for us. We had it removed and we actually planned this pregnancy.  Our previous 2 were surprises and we couldn't be happier.

Copper IUD. No hormones, don't have to think about it.
