Is buying a used car seat bad? If the expiration date is fine and a confirmation letter of no açcidents?

We bought a travel set for like half the price very clean condition. I don't see any problems with it really. The one thing I was super worried about getting new was the mattress for the crib. But we ended up getting everything new besides that.

I think it's OK as long as you know it hasn't been in any accident or anything like that. I would definitely check into if there is a recall on it. My boss is actually giving me a car seat she bought for her baby, but he is too big for it at 4 months and she said he has barely used it and its pretty much brand new.

Look up the brand and model online to be sure it has not been subject to a safety recall.

I was always told to buy a brand new car seat that's one of babies items you want new for sure..I purchased a new one with a beautiful stroller at babyRus if you buy it in a bundle you could get a cheap one.But totally up to you my family is all about buying second hand items for babies except the car seat

As long as you've checked both of those things, go for it! Carseats can be so expensive, so as long as it's safe I would not feel bad about finding a good deal on one.
