heart racing

Is it normal for your heart to race fast, even if you're just laying down. I'm 22 weeks pregnant and sometimes it will make me feel like I'm going to pass out.

It's normal. I went to a cardiologist to be sure everything was okay when I was 20 weeks... And his diagnosis was that I'm pregnant! Lol I swear you can take my pulse from across the room some days ... But it's just the extra blood & our hearts working hard to pump & get it where it needs to go.

Its very common yeah  and I also get alot of palpitations especially when resting. Its because our hearts are working so much harder to pump the extra blood around our bodies

It's pretty common in pregnancy, it is related to your hormone levels changing.  (Get used to it, you'll see it again in menopause.)  Try cutting back on sugar and on caffeine, and you will see it almost disappear.

I've been wondering the same thing. I keep forgetting to ask my doctor. I've been having it the whole pregnancy and I'm 27 weeks
