plan b, pregnant or no?

My girlfriend and I had sex after her period around January 24. But unfortunately, the condom ripped. I didn't ejaculate, but to be safe we bought plan b and she took it about 15-18 hours after intercourse. About a week later taking the pill she started bleeding for about a week. Since then she hasn't had a period. Also, she isn't showing any symptoms for pregnancy. Is it just because of plan b? Please help??

Yes, plan b can cause unexpected bleeding or delay the next period.  You might wanted to google "plan b delayed period" and read through the stories.  The official word from the manufacturer is that it can delay it a little and cause some spotting,  but the word from users is that they experience MUCH more variability/much later periods/much more bleeding than the manufacturer says.

Best wishes.

PlanB causes a lot of unusual bleeding.

She could take a pregnancy test now,  if it would put her mind at rest.

Thank you! Could plan b mess up someone's period like that? She has never taken plan b or birth control before.
