Oh really? hmm.. Well right before they were born on the monitor it was 170-173 so its soo hard to say, and I am getting anxious on what it is going to be!!
I keep thinking its a boy, but I could be wrong.

Joyce- I spotted 6-7 weeks pregnant, and it was very light though, I mean in order to tell you had to shove the toilet paper a little in there to see that there was blood, wel not the first time, but it was still very very light pink. I have read up on spotting during pregnancy and some women will spot during implantation and usually that time occurs when your expecting your period and it is very light and some women don't even notice they are  pregnant at that time because the of the spotting, but I don't know!! Trying to conceive is honestly the most frustrating thing, I thought dealing with my husband at times was frustrating, until I tried to get pregnant my first time around and that took 8 months of trying and that was the longest 8 months of my life.

jamie-happy second trimester!  my little girl started close to 160, but since then she has been between 150-155.

joyce-are you completely positive that you ovulated 19 days ago?  if so, i would talk to your doctor and get the blood test.  but if you aren't positive and could be a week off on when your period is due, than perhaps it is here??  another possibility is that the intercourse is causing the spotting.  i know that is common in pregnancy as your cervix is quite tender.  i don't know what to tell you, but i wish you lots of luck!

HA I have never wondered if my babies were going to be ugly!! But I don't blame you I guess I have seen some pretty not very cute babies I guess you could say, and I feel bad when I do. But really no matter what other people think of your baby you will always find it cute!!

Keeks- that is good that it is only light bed rest then. My boys were very active and I felt that pinching feeling but it never set off any kind of contractions that I know of any way.

About the bath thing I was told I wasn't allowed to take baths by my doctor when I was pregnant with my boys, the told me to stay a way from having baths, and I didn't think of to ask why though. So I just don't take them.

Well, I still won't find out what I am having until the end of July, seems like so far a way. But I am 13 weeks today and have my 2nd prenatal so I hope I am able to hear heart beat today. At my ultra sound they said it was 160, so we will see. At the beginning my boys was around the 140-145ish, but this one was 160, but who knows.

keeks-what you described i go thru quite often.  my baby is very active and flips and turns often sometimes triggering the menstruallike (very mild) cramps and low back pain.  and my tummy knots up.  that is when i discovered that i am experiencing braxton hicks contractions.  it said that sometimes they can come on by fetal movement.  did the doctors mention any of that to you?  it's funny you almost went to washington, dc.  that is only 40 minutes from my house!  i can't believe it's a boy!!  i was convinced you were having a girl!  either way, your little boy will be so special.  i'm glad that everything is okay with you and baby.  and i don't blame you for finding out the gender...i couldn't go 9 months without knowing!!  i wish i could, but i just couldn't.  mandy is right, he still can do the announcement :-)

mandy-i was getting tired of it too....no one can believe how far along i am.  i asked my doctor bout it and he said that everyone carries differently and my baby is measuring fine and that is all that matters.  so, that is what i tell everyone that makes a comment.

hot bathes-i haven't taken any because i have been paranoid...it took me 12 weeks to feel comfortable with a hot shower!!  i had been taking luke warm showers almost my entire first trimester!  i am a freak!!  as long as your body temp doesn't go over 101 degrees you are fine.  i go to the pool all of the time and it's been in the mid 90s here, i just keep my body cool buy drinking ice water and getting in and out of the pool/pouring water on myself.  i don't get in the jacuzzi however.  they say in late pregnancy, a bath is soothing.  maybe if you just take a warm bath, not too hot and don't soak for too long.

actually, ihaven't thought too much about the ugly baby part.  i have only ever seen one ugly baby and boy was he ugly!!!  like scary ugly!!!  i do far autism and all of the other unknowns...  as far as the immunizations, i have read that they have done research and are discovering something that was in the immunizations that they believe has caused autism.  they said that they no longer use it as of a couple of years ago and the autisum rate has dropped significantly.  i hope that is true!!  it is an article my friend sent me a few months ago when i was freaking out about vaccinations.

Omg Keeks Congrats! First off that ***** what you went through...but yay you're having a boy! :) He can still do the announcement..just cause yall know what it is, don't mean you have to tell everyone else, right? haha.

Soooo sorry I haven't been on in a while. Been feeling not so hot lately. :( Buuuuut on the upside (there is always an up-side) my liver enzymes are stable- so as of right now, me and baby are good. There is no immediate threat or need to worry about delivering him this week. I have another appointment on the 12th. So we'll see what he says then...

I'm about 26 weeks. Due date between the 10th and 16th or so.. it varies every time. Lol. My LMP was Dec 5, 2007. I don't know about you girls but I am getting darn tired of people not believing I'm as pregnant as I am. I'm tired of hearing "You're so TIIIIIIIINY" It's like they don't believe that I'm eating or something. I've gained only 7lbs so far and they act like I'm committing a crime! I eat all the time!!

Omg, So I probably should ask, what is the real deal with HOT baths? I mean- because I didnt take any the first 15 weeks or so- but now I do- and apparently it's bad? I googled it and everything says not to have hot baths but they dont say why - just that "it's bad for the baby" . One site says that it can cause Ancepcehaply or something like that... but early in pregnancy... I looked that up and I bawled for an hour last night reading stories of babies that had that.

Not to sound vain, or whatever... but is anyone else worried that their kid is gonna come out fugly? Lol. I'm not worried about him having legs and fingers- that we've seen. I'm worried about him being blind or having autism or some other brain problem or even just being an ugly baby! Is that mean? I know people say there are no ugly babies, but I beg to differ. I've seen them. And I'm TERRIFIED I'm going to have one! :(

Am I being silly?

OH, and do y'all know what the deal is with the immunizations that they get around 2 yrs that is supposedly causing Autism and even paralyzation?! EEEEk.
