Thanks for all your well wishes! :) I appreciate them tons :)

Jamie , im not sure how much it was shortening , They didnt say and I didnt know to ask?.....I know my doctor today explained how long it should be with her fingers and how long mine was , there was a bit of a difference which is why the concern now.......I am on light bed rest until I see the specalist on Wednesday , I didnt dilate at all that I know of? I had 2 real contractions after being checked the 1st time by my doctor before being sent out but they figured that the contractions might have been brought on by her touching my cervix.....We are definelty holding out for at least 36 weeks , although the doctors are happy with anything past 28 weeks

Princess , I think you are the only one left :( Im sorry! lol.....You'll be our suprise though!......I really did want to wait in the end up when it came down it in the heat of the moment and just the rush of it all , I needed to know lol...........Im sorry!......Here's hoping you have a girl though maybe lol Krissy's little Skyler will need a girl playmate or shes gonna be bored playing with all the boys if we ever do a meet & greet LOL

Thanks again Ladies! means alot! & Thanks for letting me get it all off my chest , feels a bit better to talk about it with people who kinda understand as opposed to someone who isnt really in your position.....but honestly I was so messed up on adrenaline , gravol , antibotics and what not that I barely remember much of the day until my Fiance got to the hospital........I didnt even break down & cry until he got there , I was just in such a fog , I made a joke of everything and just somehow let it all play out, however today & last night , ive cried alot , I think just thinking about it , and feeling bad for how worried everyone was & my Fiance being scared & not knowing and stuff has taken a bit of a toll , that and sleep lol......I honestly pray none of you ever have to be hospitalized while pregnant cause its HORRIBLE , you are already SO tired and you get NO sleep lol

How far along are you?
At 24 weeks my cervix was shortening, by 24 weeks it had 1 cm left to go before dilation, so it was weird that I made it all the way to 38weeks, but I know your lucky for having light bed rest, I had full bedrest nothing, I was barely allowed to get up and pee for heaven sakes LOL.
But I hope you make it to 36 weeks if not to full term.

Well Krissy....my willpower dissapeared LOL.....but for a much different reason than just being nervous about having a boy......

The story of why & how I know the gender is long , so im sorry in advance......

Saturday night, around midnight the baby started acting kinda weird , flipping around and I could see distinct movements and parts of the body as it moved , and just super active....but passed it off as normal....then at about 2 30am I had some weird cramps , kinda just like AF cramps but with a weird backache....so I got up and re-searched it online , which all pretty much said normal due to stretching & to just switch positions & it should pass....so go back to bed...3 30am still no better so I called the nurses line who said the same thing , fairly normal , but then she asked me if the baby was more active....when I said yes she told me to go to emergency as soon as possible , so I woke up my Fiance & we left .....I honestly thought I was over-reacting.....but when we were walking into the hospital I started to have like the weird pinching pains again and it just didnt seem right , so I got admitted and got hooked up to an IV and had blood drawn and then the nurses called my doctor , who arrived around 5am....about 6 am she checked me and the babys head was down & low and my cervix was short , so then was a mad rush to ship me to a special hospital with a NICU and what not but there were no beds at the hospitals closest to me so they were going to ship me to the States ( Washington DC) but at the last moment a bed became avaliable at a hospital about 4 hours away , so then by 10am I was gone in an Air Ambulance being transfered to the other hospital.....Anyways long story short , I spent about 30 hours at the other hospital , had an ultrasound ~ which is how I know the gender , they tell you for free there and also give you 5 pictures.....but anyways , ultrasound came back okay , baby was active , only now in the breech position , my cervix looked closed & okay and that was that , then I had a fetal fibrontection (sp) swab test to determine if I would go into active labour in the next 2 weeks , which came back negative thank goodness , so I got to come home last night , which was GREAT! As wonderful as the hospital staff was and everything , I needed my own bed , I needed to just digest everything that had happened , and then today I had an appt with my doctor again , she checked me and the baby is head down again and my cervix isnt as short as it was , it is alot better but its still shorter than it should be , especially at this point , so im on light bed rest , just no excessive walking or anything , take it easy and relax , I go to a high risk doctor who will now be taking over as well , on Wednesday and he'll check me again and see what he thinks , so it should be fine , but definetly scary & alot to think about!......

Anyways so the good news LOL.......

Its A.....

BOY!!!!!!!!!

lol.....I was POSITIVE it was a girl until I went for the ultrasound and he was in the breech position , I KNEW at that point nothing was going the way I had planned so no way was I gonna get my girl lol.....I came to terms with it before she even said it was a boy though lol........I needed to find out , I couldnt handle anymore suprises after all that & we were so worried he would be born then that I wanted the chance to bond with him a bit before hand so that just in case I had that time ya know?......But im glad I know , it does kind of ruin the suprise of telling everyone after hes born , but I know that whats more important to my Fiance & I & our families is that he's healthy and were hoping he stays in until at least 36 weeks :).........Oh and his name is Rylen James Charles Weeks :)

Anyways , I hope everyone is doing well & had a good weekend!

Well super excited only 13 weeks and I found a crib that I want that converts from a baby bed to a toddler bed, and then to a day bed. So saves money=) and its only 279.99 and I know I say only, but I saw some that don't even convert for almost $500
