I'm already taking it as of this week trying to do everything I can to convince a healthy baby . Thankyou
If you're not pregnant yet, start taking folic acid daily now. It's supposed to do the most good if the woman has been taking it from three months before she gets pregnant on through the pregnancy.
Okay thank you that was really helpful!
Where did you hear that? Lack of folic acid would be a serious problem -- babies can get birth defects of the brain and spinal cord if the mom didn't have enough before and during pregnancy.
Just take any prenatal you can tolerate (some women find they throw them up and have to switch to Flintstones kids' vitamins). I took extra folic when pregnant on top of the amount in my prenatals.
