Another ultrasound?

Have any of you ladies orderd an utrasound simply to confirm yr having wat you were told? Im unsure about wat I was told and want another scan but dont want to seem selfish.

Thanks ladies, yeah im in australia not sure if anywhere does ellective ultrasounds. I was fine until a friend asked me wat I saw on the ultrasound then said id get another just to confirm. Really dont know wat to do as I want to have everything b4 he or she gets here.

I know doctors won't do another us just to confirm the gender it has to be something wrong or maybe a health issue that the parent or child may have. But as already started you could always go to outside places that do elective ultrasounds. :)

I know lots of people who have gone in for additional elective ultrasounds...they have places that do them as cheap as $75 around where i am.  I plan on getting a 3d one done around 30 weeks.
