So I know I posted about not getting the flu shot yesterday because my heart wasn't in it but today I'm coughing, sneezing, my body is aching, and I'm so tired. I'm watching out to see if I develop a fever(which I never do, even when I have the flu), but what else can I do to feel better? I should also throw it out there that I'm against medicine, but if I need it I will take it. Any home remedies that will make me feel better?

Drink tea with honey 3 times a day at least the honey will coat your throat. Use vicks vapor rub for the cough and sneezing I have no idea how to stop that

My MW suggested that flu jab is very good for defence against Fluenza, swine flu and some other big Flus which can cause problems during pregnancy.. other than that it will not defend you against cold etc.. believe me i had bad flu attack at 11wks with fever and all... i had injection at 14wks since then my nose is completed blocked.. i had worst cold at 23wks stayed till 26wks... i sneezed the hell out of myself... and i had bad bad cough at one point i was throwing mucus (TMI) but now it has eased up it self... if i hadnt had injection i could have gotten heavy temperature causing me to stay in hospital because it can cause miscarriage or premature birth...

if you have no temperature than its probably just weather cold... but if you start to get temperature just to go hospital because its not good for your health...

i was given no medication =(.. in uk they do not provide any medication to pregnant women as incase something cause problem...

Air borne is awesome and natural but I'm not sure herbal remedies are safe during pregnancy...

Sounds icky, i had a flu shot a few weeks ago and i'm not fully sick right now, just terribly congested, and it seems i've been battling something since i got it, but then again i've been around sick ppl a lot...Anyway my OB gave me a list of safe medications to take for flu, heart burn, etc. The only seemingly safe one on the list was Sudafed, and then of course Tylenol for the rest.of the fever, aches and pain...Try and stick to drinking oj for vit C and soups...hope you feel better!!

Drink lots of fluids...make sure you take your prenatals, rest.  I also read your post on the flu shot which made me look up whats in the shot.  A trace of mercury is in it which they say cant give kids autism but I dont wanna take a chance on a developing fetus.
