I'm lonely practically all day but I'm glad I have my puppy that keeps me company. I try taking her out for walks most of the days when the sun goes down. I try cleaning the house, listen to music and watch movies. Thinking about the baby and looking at her clothes makes me feel better sometimes. I also drink chamomile tea which helps you with nervousness. Sometimes I read something that interests me. I with all of us pregnant woman that have these symptoms can get together since we understand what we're going through. That would help me a lot!

I go outside every night now and stay sitting down on my stairs for about an hour. That calms me down. I feel like I want to disappear sometimes

I've had a lot of stress and anxiety throughout my entire pregnancy, and it definitely doesn't feel good. Stressing to the point of stomach pains And then worrying to death about whether your baby is okay, it's not fun. I still struggle with it too, but I have found a few things that ease the persistent onset of the negative emotions. Personally I have found that going for a little drive in the car and listening to good music helps a lot and can calm your mind. Some people say yoga really helps, although I could never get, into yoga so I don't really know. But most importantly, don't forget to breathe. When your emotions get to high or too low, take deep slow breaths, close your eyes and count. I like to mix it up a little, count to 100 and if that doesn't do the trick go right ahead and count backwards from 100. If just simply counting doesn't help, I go through the multiplication table, it challenges your mind a little more and keeps you more focused. Basically, occupy your mind as much as possible. If you can control your mind, you can control your emotions much better.

Ive had bad anxiety all my life, my mother does too. It made me nervous when I was pregnant because someone told me that if you stress too much during pregnancy not only is it bad for your baby but your baby won't be happy when they come out (that ones an old wives tale). But my mom told me some good tricks that really helped me. Drink a lot of water, eat healthy, and do yoga (or just a few stretches everyday). These are things you should do in pregnancy anyways, but you'd be surprised what a healthy body can do for your mind. She also taught me a breathing trick to do when I got stressed or felt an anxiety attack coming on.

Put your hand over your heart so you can feel your pulse, and take deep slow breaths. Inhale and hold, count for as many seconds as you feel comfortable with (I do 8) and then exhale for about half that time (or however much you need). Then repeat. It doesn't work for everyone but I was always calmed by this. Also talk to your Dr! Especially about the depression. They can offer better advice and perhaps some groups/ out reach programs that could really benefit you. Pregnancy should be a joyful thing but unfortunately for some of us its hard to think about the beauty of it while weighed down with stress and pain and depression. Talk about it, don't be ashamed, be proud you're asking for help and keep your head up! You're strong and you can totally do this
