How far along in pregnancy do I have to be before I register at a hospital?

My doctor told me to call at 22 weeks and then they made the registry appointment at the hospital for 27 weeks.

32.wks tomorrow and the hospital called me last wk to tell me when my C section is and registered me on the phone

I was also told 20 weeks due to how busy my hospital is.

Mine isn't until 35 weeks, I called after my 20 wk ultrasound & they waited until then to schedule

I was told to do it before 20 wks because we have a triage in our l&d department

From personal experience, you can register as soon as you know your due date and have all the necessary info needed for the application, which isn't much and very simple. I registered around 20 wks.

I recently just registered at my local hospital online . I'm 36+4 . You can register anytime if you regoster online you will have less to do when it comes down to actually being admitted . Give the hospital a call and ask l&d . Congrats :)
