Swollen gums

Any home remedies for swollen gums? Besides the obvious brush your teeth (which hasn't helped)
On a non pregnancy related note, can someone please explain to me what a regular coffee is?? Is it one milk one sugar? It's been driving me nuts all day.

Thanks smurf, I have been keeping up with my hygiene but it doesn't seem to help. They don't bleed when I brush or floss, should I brush harder maybe? Could that be why the swelling won't go down?
Bree, that sounds like a remedy I could enjoy, mm tea, thanks, I'll give it a shot tonight and let you know

Do you have any Lipton or whichever ya bags? If you put it in the microwave just enough to warm it up then put it on the swollen gums it should get better. I was told that when I worked at a retirement home, but have never tried it

Its best to brush your gums and Floss everyday. Flossing with make your gums go down.Your gums will bleed but if u do it everyday it will stop.

I know i am a Dental Assistant. I hope this helps you.
