Anybody has a problem quitting ciggs

I had a really hars to stopping but i kust stoped last tuesday so anything is possible i just thought about my baby girl in my tummy : )

I smoked a pack a day for 10 years and I quit cold turkey in my first trimester. They just made me so sick, even the smell of them made me sick. I'm 27wks and to this day the smell makes me puke. I wanna slap anyone I see with a cig lol

I'm six weeks and 1 today woo! I've cut back half of what I was smoking before I found out I've gone from half a pack to five a day. My Dr told me yesterday good job but quit with in the next six weeks. He also told me this a fact I didn't know. The placenta likes carbonminoxide rich blood over oxygenated blood. So when you smoke your placenta reached for the non oxygenated blood over the good blood. Just food for thought and that's defiantly in my head now with me trying to cut back and quit 100%.

Thats the problem am having I love the way a cigg smells when turned on by a match...specially the Newports...weird I no...am tring my best to quit I drink water eat fruits...but nothing have worked trying to stop cold turkey still nothing...they wont give me the patch...

From regular coffee I went to decaf...not much of a fan of soda only the blue mountain dew what makes it more hard hubby smokes too...but thanx fr the advice. ..

I was smoking when I first found out I was pregnant, i was in the same boat couldnt quit, but by my 8th week they were making me so sick it was funny so I found that spearmint gum helped.

Yea i know what you mean... just try to cut as much as you can and if you really can try to quit completly before your baby is born.... but careful with the caffeine. Try to have a coke or pepsi...

I did but when i talked to my doctor she said that since i was already doin it while being pregnant that my baby kinda got used to it so she said that i should just cut down A LOT and she said that i would be fine as long as i cut down to a half cig a day by 30 weeks if not to 1 cig a day
