nearly 36weeks and diarrhea sorry tmi!

hi all so im nearly 36weeks pregnant and last night i had a terrible upset stomach followed by diarrhea, it was awful, i didnt even eat anything diffrent to get an upset stomach. anyways ive been googling and ive heard its a sign of preterm labour which im freaking out about as its still rather early to have this baby,
has anyone else had this symptom then gone into labour?? need advice!

I had diarhea all day and ended up throwing up 2x the day I had my son... For me it was a sign of labor. I was about 37 1/2 weeks.

i have diaoreah or constipation throughout pregnancy and i'm on my fourth pregnancy now. it can be hormonal...but itcan also be a sign of preterm labour sometimes. Don't panic, if your baby was born right now, it would stand almost the same chance of survival as a fullterm baby. i suggest you see your dr/ob just to check that everything's ok.

i had it my whole pregnancy bu i have heard that its signs your body is clearing out and getting ready for the big day.

i had that to when i was 8 months, and yes it was labor for me, my back hurt and i had diarrhea really bad went to dr and was 8 fingers so keep a check on it, i had no labor pain in stomack just hurt some in my back. good luck.
