How to know if u have a bladder infection?

I have a bladder infection when i was around 16 weeks, i feel like a ligament pain in my vagina i thought i hurted my self while exercising, like three days after i went to pee and i saw a brown discharge, i did not put alot of attention, but then i went to pee again and i had a brown discharge with some bright red blood, so i runned to the EM the did blood tests and it come out i had a bladder infection, they gave me some antiviotics and i was fine in less then 10 days.

I have no pain while pee or any pain at all.
I dont have a bad smell but i have a slight smell . Thats why u ask.

When it comes to other types of infections usually a fever gives that away.

I get that feeling pourmycoffee describes every time I drink soda...then I'll drink a bottle of water and it goes away. I've had uti's as bad as peeing blood and you'll definitely be able to tell. Very very uncomfortable..

Yep. I agree w pourmycoffee. Her description is very accurate. I'm suffering from one right now, and I don't think the antibiotics are specific enough. I think I need to send my urine out to get a more specific test! Anyway, if this is your problem, get to your provider, asap. You have my empathy. Take care.

Bladder infections = the worst. They hurt when you pee, it hurts after you pee. You feel like you need to pee all the time and if you try only a tinkle happens. Its a weird uncomfortable tickle in your bladder(think that tickle in your throat when ur sick but in your bits)
If its bad enough there will be blood in your pee.

If you think you have one get it checked out it can spread to your kidney
