I was 1cm and 60% effaced from 36 weeks...come 41+5 I was still the exact same and they induced me. I was trying everything to make me progress but nothing worked. Hope it's not the same for you!

I was 2cm with my daughter for three weeks before I had her at 38w. With my son I was 3cm for a week before I had him at 36w. You really can't predict when you will go into labor. My ob estimated I would have another 38 weeker, but my water broke two days later.

Thats too bad.. everyone is different tho. I know ladies that were checked and were 1 cm and they had their babies less than a week later.

I've been between 1-2cm dilated and 70% effaced since 36 weeks and I am 38+4 so it could be any day now or you could just sit on a number for awhile like me.
