1 hour diabetes test

Did anyone else feel sick after drinking the juice? i have stayed away from juice since i got pregnant especially orange juice always made me feel sick and i felt even worse after drinking the juice that was given to me anyone else felt this way and did you test positive or negative

i guess it depends on the doc, and im glad not lots of blood was taken

Oh, ya I had to do all kinds of blood work today they took 6 tubes -_- but I thought they were suppose to let you know like ahead of time.. guess not.

I had no idea i was taking mine today also, my last appt doc said  she would explain the test me to but when i went it today i saw a diff doc and she didnt tell me just said you'll drink a juice and get blood drawn an hour later i had to ask the questions thank God for this site since i had been reading a lot about it anywayz i was told only after i had drank it that i can't eat or drink anything for that hour which sucked cuz i had the urge to drown the chocolate drink and water i had in my bag so bad, and i did get blood drawn but just one tube

Did they t3ll yall not to eat for a certain amount of time ? Because I had an appointment today and thry surprised me with that test and alot of blood work do I was just wondering how I should have at yesterday,  would I have known

I was fine, just kind of shaky for the hour of waiting. Then on the way home i got really lightheaded and had to pull over to puke. Not fun but i did pass.

mine was orange, and God i hope i passed, do you have to drink another juice for the 3 hours test?. I think i felt sick cus i had to drink the entire bottle under 5 min which put a lil pressure on me

I passed my test but I also felt sick , im not sure if it's because we couldn't eat ? Or just the liquid itself . I was feeling hot and sweaty and just wanted to throw up and the drink they gave me was the clear one and it was super gross but freezing .

The juice gave me acid reflux. I failed the one hour by two or three points but passed the three hour

I felt weak and nauseous after both glucose test. I think its just because I had to wait forever to eat
