Spotting is normal if no cramping I had on and off spotting for an entire month but wasn't aware I was pregnant

Twin gestations 101......dichorionic diamniotic = 2 placentas and 2 sacs....monochorionic diamniotic = 1 placenta and 2 sacs.....monochorionic monoamniotic = 1 placenta and 1 sac. All three can result in identicals. If they are boy/girl it has to be di/di. Di/di can also be same gender but won't know if identical until after birth. Riskiest is mono/mono.  All twin gestations are considered high risk. Two eggs and two sperm become di/di. One egg and one sperm can be any of the 3 types. If the embryo splits "late"....conjoined.

If they are identical they would be in the same sac just have a barrier between them if fraternal they will have two separate sacs
