That is a significant amount of weight lost, but for some women it's perfectly normal, especially if you're "overweight" or a little bigger starting out, as long as baby is growing good, it's fine, baby will take all the nutrients he/she needs before you, so really, you'll be the one losing out. I would just drink LOTS, and eat small, easy meals. Try the BRAT diet, bananas, rice, apples, toast, and that helps a lot. Saltines, stuff like that. I hope you start feeling better! :( Has your dr. talked to you about hypermesis?

don't space between american and pregnancy
I would try the BRAT diet and see if you can keep any of that down. Plus, I would keep trying food until you find anything you can keep down. For a while all I could keep spicky chicken sandwiches from Wendy's.
Im almost 23 weeks and ive lost a total of 30 pounds, but the baby is growing big amd healthy and my doctor isnt really worried since i am a heavier girl to begin with. Small meals help with being sick, even if its just a bite or two, something in your stomach will settle it more than being empty.
Im 11wks and have lost a bit of weight coz I used to eat alot of junk but now I either have no appetite or crave fruit so because Im eating better and walking the weights dropping off. Have my first scan next week so will find out if bubs doing ok
Just make sure you aren't getting dehydrated and baby is growing well. You may even have to go to the hospital to get fluids and zofran in an IV. I had to do that with my daughter multiple times.
