12 days late for my period

how arcurate are pregnancy tests i am 12 days late never been late before i taken 3 tests and they said negative im confused as i am feeling very tired thses last 2 weeks n bit sicky .

so u kept getting negatives right up untill u was 4 month pregnant wow so tests are not as acourate then bet you loved it wen u got ur positve after all that time ill keep testing lol

The egg implants 7-14 days after ovulation. At this point it releases hormones a pregnancy test can detect, but in a few cases some women don't show on a standard urine test. A betablood test will pick up and read the exact level of the hCG hormone in your body. A level above 5 is positive. Anything under is negative.

everybody says different things i red on another site that the hormone wont be strong enough to show till about 5 weeks is anybody having the same problem as me the tests i get are only a pound lol .

If you're 12 days late, you're not testing early. A test can show accurate results two weeks after your last sexual encounter. See a doctor for a blood test.

i would consult you'r doctor and get a beta done. that's the most accurate result you can get. good luck

yes i am my last period was 22nd of sept so it may be too early , i have got 3 children my youngest was 5 year ago n i carnt remember how far i was with him wen i did a test .

Most tests are about 97-99 % accurate. Although if your very early, you may not have enough of the hormone built up to show in a test. Are you testing with first morning urine ?
