Some Doctors Won't Do A Gender Scan Until 20 Weeks, That Way It Is As Accurate As It Can Be!

YOU MEAN I COULD GO GET MY BABY GENDERED ON MONDAY IF I REALLY FELT LIKE IT. WTF WHY DIDNT MY DOCTOR TELL ME ALL THAT. Oyyyyy. (16 weeks today :p) but I'd def not get your hopes up until your anatomy scan!

You can find out as early as 15 weeks by ultrasound,  but I believe they say the earlier it is the more inaccurate. I found out at 19+6 and had it confirmed at 26+4. I would ask them to confirm it at your anomaly scan

Its to early for they to tell the gender because they both look the same way around that time u have to wait 20-24wks to know for sure, or u can have a blood test done to know the gender

Yeah mine couldn't see bits either but apparently the umbilical cord tends to sit higher up on boys and she could see that

At 13+3 my doctor said she thinks its a boy at 17+3 it was confirmed. I didn't trust the 13 week one though because she couldn't point out genitles so I didn't want to risk it.
