have you ladies ever used bengay while pregnant? my back has been killing me all day and my fiance put some on there. i didnt even think about it! :/ i tried to google it but, didnt find much.

Hope it works for you.  If not try a warm(not hot, too hot can raise your temp too high, not good for baby either)bath, regular strength Tylenol, sleeping with a pillow between your legs, or a heating pad on the lowest setting.  Good luck!

i will definitely have to make sure its not the kind with the asprin. im pretty sure its just the regular kind because we got it at a gas station lol so they usually only have one kind. but thank you ladies soo much!

I know you can use vicks vapor rub.  Both bengay and vicks are menthol based so its probably fine.  Read the label and make sure its not the kind with aspirin, if its that one stop using it because even topical aspirin is not allowed during pregnancy.  I found something online that drs worry about in topical pain rubs are silicates. Using rubs in large amounts several times daily for an extended time period would cause large amount silicate expose which can be harmful to your baby. You can use icy hot/ben gay in small amounts occasionally without issue.  If you are still concernec certainly mention it to your dr. Feel better soon.

I used it for my sciatica pain, I asked my dr and he said it was ok to used. And in the bengay bottle it doesnt say anything about not to use while pregnant.
