2 ? belly and throat

First question: When I am standing up I have a baby bump. When I sit or lay down I just look fat. This ever happen to any of you?
Second question: I posted earlier about a dry throat, but since then I have developed a sore throat. Is there anything I can safetly take?
I am 13 weeks by the way.

@robin I went to the er because I can't be seen by my doctor until August 23rd when she gets back from vacation. I asked them about that so they checked my lungs and all that good stuff and it wasn't. They said its just a chest/head cold.

Idk if you read my comment on your other post about the dry throat but I experienced the same thing at 12 weeks, first a dry throat, then a sore throat and coughing, after three weeks of coughing I was then diagnosed with pregnancy induced asthma....you should get check out with your doctor!

I was really sick last week with a sore throat  and been taking cough drops helps and salt water. stay hydrated.

I had the same belly problem until about 30 weeks. I.carry really low so.when i sit down my belly goes down and was hardly noticeable but when i stand i look lile im ready to.pop. I never have.carried high with either of my babies so always had that problem. Itll.change soon your still early on.

For the sore throat gargle with warm salt water several times a day. You can also try honey wich is a natural antibacterial maybe tea with honey and lemon.
