2 ?'s Tearing & bleeding
Any moms out there that had a 2nd degree tear , how long did it take to heal & how long did you ladies bleed after giving birth
I got cut pretty bad by my dr so it took me 5 weeks to heal with stitches.
I bled for about 4 weeks.

I'm not sure about the degree of tear, but i tore both times so far with my first and second. Both were 9 pounds. I had to get stitches the first time, and it took about two weeks, but then the stitches on one side had skin grow over them or something so it took an extra week or two to heal. The bleeding lasts about 1-2 weeks, but the super heavy bleeding only lasts about 4 or 5 days. Then it goes to a normal or light period bleed so that part isn't too bad.
