36 weeks!

Yay baby button! Going to my appt tomorrow and getting checked to see if I'm dilated at all. Were any of you ladies dilated or effaced at your 36 week checkup?

@genamarie she wouldn't check me! I'm kinda disappointed because I really wanted to know! I have to wait until next week. Got the lovely strep b test though. Not on my top list of favorite things haha

I never got to look into the prenatal yoga, I was hospitalized during my 2nd trimester, and kept on bed rest clear up until my 36 week appointment :/ but yeah, I've been trying to look into natural induction methods, I don't want to be induced at 39 weeks as they are talking about, and I'm severely uncomfortable now nothing helps the pain lol I've been bouncing on a birthing ball now! I'll definitely let you know how it goes Friday! Let me know how tomorrow goes for you! You'd be surprised what can happen!

@genamarie I've been having more bra ton hicks than usual and some back cramps but nothing intolerable. Let me know how your appt goes on Friday! I've been doing my prenatal yoga still (which is getting harder everyday lol) and I've been using my yoga ball so there better be something happening!

lol! yes, I actually just packed my bag two days ago, doctor said I could go at any moment, but it's hard to believe right now. I've had so much progress, but don't really have contractions anymore, which you definitely need to go into labor if your water doesn't break first! lol I'm hopeful for more change by Friday at my 37 week appointment! Good luck though! Anything is possible. I actually can't recall a single time that would have resulted in any of the progress I've had, it's all happened without my knowledge, so even if you haven't noticed severe contractions you could still have the changes!

@genamarie yay! You gave me so much hope! I know he's dropped more since my last appt but I can't wait to see if I'm making progress. I've been procrastinating when it comes to my hospital bag because I feel like it will jinx me!

Yes, I've actually been dilated since I was 26 weeks though, but I was more dilated at my 36 week appointment. I'm now 3 centimeters dilated, and 80% effaced, but that was almost a week ago, and I've finally been off bed rest this past week, so it's likely (with the cramping and pain I've had) that I've dilated more now. Good luck ! It's possible you've had progress already and not even known, be sure to ask what station baby is in too, it will give you an idea of how things are going too!
