I was wondering if someone here could give me some advice on breastfeeding. I've heard its overall better for the baby so I definitely want to give it a chance. I called my insurance company today and they said they provide pumps, but I have to decide electric or manual. I'm not sure which is better. Most people i know have formula fed. Any information or tips you could share would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you :)

I personally like electric also but my daughters godmother is exclusively pumping and she likes her manual. My insurance covers a medela in style pump and I am pretty excited to get it since I onky had a cheapy one last time and it wasn't a double.

Def electric!  My LO came 5 weeks early n was in NICU, so I exclusively pumped for about 2 weeks. I use the medela freestyle pump. My insurance covered it 100%. Manual is tiring, and you cant do it hands free (tried it while I was still in the hospital before I could get my electric pump)
