Im 38 weeks & 5 days. Tuesday I was checked to see if I was dilating and was told by my doctor I might have spotting. Afterwards I had cramps every 2hrs that seemed they would turn into contractions but stopped. Yesterday (12/31)I had period cramps all day but in no regular pattern, followed by back pains. I kept checking my underwear to find water trickles that later on that night turned into a light bloody gooey discharge. Now this morning(1/1) I still have some when I wipe. Any advice?
When they check your cervix you can have spotting and contractions/cramps in the following days. Its pretty normal.
