my friend is tryin to take over HELP!!
So we decided to make one of my close friends Godmom..but it seems like she takin it overboard like its her baby!! I haven't really bought anything jus yet bcuz we are just moving but she is buying all this stuff like outfits already which I don't mind...than she when I say things like o we saw a cute outfit for him to come home in she responds "o the blue outfit I bought him would be cute I think it suits the weather" than I say I jus started registering but my hunny want to do it in person she says " o ima love that" I'm like who's the parents me or u, I was telling my bf & he says he not goin bite his tongue so she better calm down before the baby comes ...i dont want hurt her feelings but this is my child anyone have any advice? Or been thru or in a similar situation??

my moms the same... she always says 'were ganna do this, nd shes ganna have two strict parents' (meanin shes one of them).... i mean i no shes excited first time grandma but i honestly feel like shes tryin to take over, or she will try to take over... yes im a ftm nd new to this so im ganna accept help from her but i dnt want her to try nd think shes ganna raise the baby the way she wants to cuz its not ganna happen... she already was sayin before that i cnt take my daughter to see her dad... nd wenever we see clothes that say daddy on it shes like oh shes not ganna wear none of that, nd i got some clothes already that say daddy nd shes like we could throw these away... it makes me mad...

Loooool ur funny..to be honest I can see why it might get a lil bit annoying. your friend is godmomziller lool..seriously best thing to do is talk to her while your calm coz you will loose it an might say something rude that yu cant take bak..good luck hun..

Yea I kno she excited but I jus don't like wen I say something she acts like wat I say is irrelevant.. one day I said wen he get older wat I wanted his bedtime to be & she said something like o we'll get that straightened out ummm did I sleep with her or my bf lol...hopefully she cuts it short soon before I snap

my mom..... wen we went to register at babiesrus nd target she was the one wit the lil thing in her hand scanning everything! most the things on my registry is wat she put not me!
