There's no medical evidence for most of the DIY methods for labor induction. See this article on induction from MedHelp.org and the I'm Expecting app (Week 31)... the last bullet covers home methods. Good luck waiting it out!

I don't know if it will help or not... But for a whole day I got up at 8am I walked around the block , came home (stayed on my feet) cleaned the whole house. (Walked around the house , did squats , took a hot bath , walked around the block again , came home did squats , walked around house. I was literally on my feet from 8am -7pm I walked around my block 4 times. I took another hot bath that night. At 4am I had to go to the hospital my back was killing me , I thought I over did it.. No.... I was having back Labor , I was in full blown Labor I got to the ER at 4:15am and I was dialated to a 8! Nurses were like omg why didn't you come in sooner? ****... It was my first Pregnancy I didn't know I was in labor I just knew my back hurt ahahaha... But Castro oil , hot food , pineapples, almonds...... They claim that works for labor , no didn't help me at all ! That day I was on my feet all day and moving around all crazy I really think that's what set my labor off.
