39 weeks and my moma told me not to take a bath?

IS IT A GOOD ARE BAD IDEA TO BATH THIS FAR ALONG? I don't have a high risk pregnancy

You can bathe after you lose your mucus plug. You are fine to take a bath. You can even take a bath and labor in the tub after your water breaks. Many, many people give birth in tubs. It's a great way to deliver.

Probly she's just afraid if ur water might break in the bath and you wont realise it since its water in water. Anyways,its all up to you. Warm bath sounds really relaxing to me if i could have one right now..

Okay that's what I was thinking it would make me relax ... But I called my mom first because I ask her advice on everything and she said no just take a shower but she hasn't had a baby in 16 years since my Lil brother  lol

You can bathe all the way until your water breaks just it isnt recommended for the water to be over 98 degrees

Never heard of it.... I'm overdue & have been taking a hot bath with candles & music every night in hopes of starting labor. Actually, after doing so I've had the best sleep of this entire pregnancy. No complications for me, but maybe you should check with your dr.
