Luckily for me mine was free (: just went in today for my free 3D/4D
Medicaid in North Carolina don't pay for 3d but my tech was nice enough to give us a peek at 18 weeks nd at 33 weeks me being from fl we went there for my baby shower n paid 100 down there for 3d/4d
We paid 220$ for two sessions. One at 26 weeks and the other at 30 weeks
I have to pay 140 for mine.
Mine are FREE not bragging but I'm also on Medicaidand my doctor office isn't going to charge me
But I also have to go to the hospital to get any ultrasounds done, so it could be different because of that
It varies by state, I live in iowa, here Medicaid covers more than it does it most states. I got a sonogram and 3D ultrasound done same day and it was covered 100%.
It depends on where you go. I paid $250, $80 twice, and $60. One was thru my docs office and the other ones were at independent ultrasound places best thing you can do is google places and call them for pricing. And no insurance I know of covers it since it is elective.
My doctor told me all 3D and 4D Sonos were out of pocket...
My office charges $100 for them.
I want to say that Medicaid doesn't pay for them as they arent medically necessary. My insurance for sure doesnt pay for it for that same reason.
Medicaid only pays for the sonogram ordered by your doctor and most doctors only do 2D. My 3D sonogram costed about $120.
