Cycles After Birth
Lexi is 11 weeks old today. I stopped my pp bleeding and had my first "period" when I took the patch off to try to relactate at 5 weeks. Anyways, it's been six weeks since then and I still have not had another period. I had some spotting that lasted a day and then went away. We were only using condoms and a few times totally forgot them. I just want to go ahead and start so that I can resume my birth control. I'm just wondering if it's normal to be 11 weeks post partum and not have a period. I'm not breastfeeding anymore.
I tested Sunday and it was bfn. But I wasn't charting my cycle at all, so idk if I tested too early or what.
Hmmm...I know your body can take time to adjust after having a baby, being on birth control and adjusting to breastfeeding. I'm still exclusively breastfeeding myself and still don't have a period at almost 6 months PP. Have you tested to rule out any possible pregnancy?
