need advise

So some might remember I posted few days ago, so for the past 3 nights or so around midnight I start getting regular contractions. Told my dr she said if it last longer then 3 hours come in. And they normally stop right at 3 hours. Well was trying to research online about it, all it said about only night contractions that are extreamly painful, which mine are, is its your bodys way of getting ready and baby should be here in about 2 weeks. Please tell me that's not true! I'm only 27 wks.

Hyperemesis is severe nausea and vomiting while pregnant. I had it while pregnant with my daughter (main reason why I can't get pregnant anymore) and it made me severely ill, anemic and very weak. It also caused moderate damage to my body that took over 14 months after childbirth to heal. It's not fun.

Anyways, it's VERY important you be seen. You should NOT be contracting regularly and they should definitely not be painful like that. Anytime you have more than 4-6 contractions in an hour you need seen.

Braxton hicks are NOT supposed to be painful! Go see your doctor he might prescibe bed rest just to be safe and even if he doesn't... take it easy anyways. I've been on bed rest since I found out I was preggo due to hyperemesis gravidarum and severe weakness. Just relax and try not to stress. Xoxo

They actually do have a pattern they are every 3 min lastin around 30 sec dr hasn't seen me since they started happening she just said as long as they stop I don't really need to be seen. I'm also having back labor which I told my dr about also and she said the same thing as long as I can get them to stop she's not worried. But I have had 2 other babies and only time I have experienced this hard of contractions is when I was in labor

You are stressing yourself which is not healthy. I know its easy to do during pregnancy. I have painful braxon hicks or growing pains? Who knows. I was also worried about the same thing. I thought it was pre labor but its been well over 2 weeks since I've been getting them and nothing. I say breath through them, try to relax and remember you are not going into labor unless your water breaks or you have a pattern to your contractions.  It is out of your control when it happens but if your are adding this kind of stress into your life you are increasing your chances of early labor. If your doctor has seen you and you check out fine then seriously you have nothing to worry about. Unfortunately pregnancy is full of discomforts and pains. Good luck to you. Try to take some time for yourself to relax.

Its crazy how painful they are. I'm literally in tears after they start. I know she's head down already my sister thinks ill have her around 35 weeks but seems like google always says the things you don't wanna hear. I just don't wantt to go into labor anytime soon and she'll have to be in a nicu.

Call your ob, and ask him. For today you might want to try the blanket on your belly it can be colic. I blame my a/c since everytime I have the contracctions my belly is cold. Thats my only suggestion.

I have been having the same problem, im 36w3d. I say its just your body trying to prepare. Its a good thing you mention this I have had contraccion for almost a week now, n its always almost at the same hour 4 -6 in the morning. They are paintful, what I been doing is putting the blanket on my stomach to keep it warm. And that seems to help everytime. Im so sorry I dont have an answer for you.
