i got mine done at 29 weeks and he was still little. i wish i waited til at least 31 weeks to see more facial features. i would do it if i were you because its incredible. the tech will only focus on one body part at a time. a lot of time is spent on the face and then she will give you some arm, legs, and private area shots if you want some. i thought is was amazing and would even do it again if i got pregnant with a second child
Where I got my 3D/4D done...they said if I absolutely didn't get any good pictures or baby was not cooperating I could come back later to try again or they would reimburse some of the money for a future u/s. I thought that was pretty cool. I'm not sure if every place is like that, but you could always ask. But honestly, I think you should be able to get some pictures! If not, see if they will work something out with you. =) And yes, let us know how it goes, so we know! =)
Haha, I know what you meant. When I phrased the question I was thinking someone on here might've had such a bad experience at this stage and would've said something like, "don't do it, all we could see was a piece of a leg here and a fat cheek there, etc." I in no way meant anyone would think it was a waste of time or money in any other respect. I think we were on the same page though. :)
rdh1981 is absolutely right- I never meant to say it'd be a waste of time, of course. Just came out wrong! Let us know how it goes and can't wait to see the pics!
Yup, you're right about that! The package I chose includes a CD Rom with 20 high resolution images so I'll definitely be posting some new pics soon! Ahhh, I can't wait! :)
There is no waste when it comes to sneaking a peek of your little one!!! Hopefully your little one will be in the right position and you get a bunch of cute pictures!! Can't wait to see them!
Awwww..I don't know why we waited so long. I had actually planned on doing it early March but it somehow slipped my mind. Well we're still gonna go ahead and do it this weekend, hopefully we'll get some good pictures and video. I guess I'll just have to come back and report the experience for future reference. My husband really wants to see his daughter already so he's willing to take the risk, he'll just have to put the images together in his head LOL. Thank you ladies. :)
I'm not sure either. With my son, I had it done at 29 1/2 weeks and he was a big baby!
I got really great pictures and a great video. I'm sure a couple of weeks could make a difference though, I'm just not 100% sure.
Babies are usually so big at that point that it's hard to get a full face shot. So I don't really know what to tell you- it might be a waste. But if your baby has a smaller face it might not be.
