Im Not sure but i would according to y they do not recommend them
I would make my decision off the reasons for not recommending them
Over exposure to high frequency waves, for the fetal doppler. Ultrasound, I didn't quite get it. They have the regular 2D black & white, which is what I was going for. . . about 10-15mins. But I'm not sure if I'm just being too curious and should just wait. Any other ways to find out? What is intelligender?
Most 3d/4d places ask that you wait until like 6 or 7 months, it's because they aren't really meant for revealing the gender, they are more for having the 3D image that standard ultrasounds can't provide. If all you want is to find out the gender, you probably should just wait, checking for gender this early is unreliable, in the coming weeks your baby is going to grow so much, but at its current state (only a few inches in length) correctly identifying the gender is very difficult.
Thank you ladies. They do check gender at 14wks. If they can't determine you could return to recheck without paying the fee.
I'm so grateful for 4D ultrasounds. My hospital did a scan and found some abnormalities so gave me 24hrs to decide if we wanted to progress with our pregnancy. My ob sent me for a 2nd opinion and a 4D ultrasound which found it wasn't half as serious as the hospital had thought. My dr said all my future ones will be 4D to avoid unnecessary anxiety.
