5 weeks and total loss of symptoms

Im now 5 weeks and i have completely lost all symptoms of pregnancy. my breasts are no longer sore or tender..they have substantially reduced in size. I am no longer having any discharge..i am not tired or having headaches. I am still experiencing some degree of nausea but am thinking its due to my anxiety. i had an ultrasound done friday that didnt show much and have another one tomm. i was having cramps and had light spotting one day. could i have miscarried? im very confused.

Same thing happened to me. My breast hurt really bad at about 7 to 8the weeks it stopped.  I was constipated for about 3 days and bam 4 am it struck along with a nose bleed, vomiting and sweating, all at the same time. I thought I was dieing but iI was told it was normal!

I won't really know now. I had a "missed miscarriage" as my doctor called it. Apparently i have a very unfriendly uterus as i was told today. Im still nauseated but at this point i havent eaten a thing today because of the stress so im assuming that may be the culprit now.

You can expect to just feel uncomfortable and weird for the next couple weeks. Bloating, nausea, gas, constipation, diarrhea, cramps, headaches, sleep issues... the 5-8 week window is pure joy.

im getting over a cold...maybe its just the cold leaving my system. but it only happened once. it was just really random as i have been constipated for a couple of days. im just worrying over everything thats going on with my body.

Yeah. Nasty isn't it? Could also be a bug of course, but what always happens with me is I get diarrhea for like a week or two and then get really constipated and it takes awhile to sort of even things out.

About half of first-trimester pregnancies involving spotting go on to be just fine. You can expect symptoms to come and go day to day and week to week.

Cramping at 5 weeks is to be expected, usually round ligament pain. This is the time when your body is shuffling things around in there to make room for baby. It can be rather painful, actually. However, if the cramps are in the front of your lower abs and so bad they make you double over or make you dizzy, that isn't normal. Neither is a stabbing pain around your ovary that is always on one side. A fever, nausea, nasty headache and heavy bleeding or tissue passing are other indicators that something might be wrong.

An ultrasound at 5 weeks should not be expected to show much. It's too early to expect a heartbeat or much of anything that looks like a fetal pole or sac; mine basically looked like a little dark spot.

Every woman and baby are different. It doesn't necessarily indicate a problem, but you're right that both bleeding and the sudden total loss of symptoms can be red flags. If there's a question of miscarriage, your doctor can do blood testing to see whether your hormone levels are rising like they should.
