6 week scan

Had an early scan yesterday. I think I should be 6 weeks. (LMP on 1st Feb, i know for sure that I conceived on 14th Feb as only date we had sex).
Anyway, at scan they sonographer saw pregnancy sac (1cm) with yolk and beginning of fetal pole (2mm). She was unable to detect heartbeat (she said I may be earlier on in pregnancy than 6 weeks).
Do you think there is any chance of this pregnancy progressing? I have to return in 2 weeks for another scan, but 2 weeks just seems so far away. im going out of my mind with worry.

Also, just because you had intercourse on the 14th doesn't necessarily mean that was the day you conceived. You could have ovulated a few days later, and it can take over a week for an egg to implant so your dates could still be a little off. At this early stage in pregnancy just a day or two can make a huge difference in what you see. Good luck!

Its completely normal not to see anything this early. I know the 2 weeks is going to drive you crazy but its all worth the wait..when you go back expect to see a little munchkin with a flickering heart beat.

You dont generally see much that early anyway, you should see everything you need to at the next scan :)
