My Dr said not to use tampons for at least 6 weeks because of the bacteria but that I could use it when I got my regular period so that's what I did an sex it's good to wait 6 wks just to let your body heal but some people don't wait an are fine so it's up to yoy

I'm the same way. I never did but I know people who have. Realistically when they are that young they don't know the differience. It's based on your comfort level.

Yeah but your more fertile for the first 4 months after having a baby to. But theres really no time for me to have sex anyways. Her dad works night shift from 7:30 to 7:30 and baby is always with us. Im moving in with him in a week or so and she'll have her own room thats connected to ours but right now im in a one bedroom apartment and her crib is right next to my side of the bed. I just feel weird thinking bout having sex with her in the same room. Is thar weird to any of you ladies?

I plan to wait until i stop bleeding completely and after the 6 weeks. And then my next real period i will try to use tampons. For sex ill wait 6 weeks and see if it hurts or not.

Your even more fertile after you have a baby an you have to heal thats why they say wait six weeks I am pregnant with my third child.

I haven't tried using a tampon yet. Im not really bleeding very much anymore though so maybe I'll start using them again. I hate pads and I don't know what it is, I mean I want to have sex but it just feels weird cuz they did say six weeks.

I waited about 3-4month because I was scared to use a tampon again lol n sex I waited about 4-5months cuz i was also scared lol

As long as youre done with the initial bleeding youre no longer open to infection (the main reason were told 6 weeks) so then it is just a matter of what youre comfortable with

My Dr cut me and i had stitches.  
I waited 5 weeks for sex.  
Try it and if it's uncomfortable,  wait a little longer

I tore a little but only needed one stitch and thats heeled now.

I did. I actually never used tampons again besides a few times after having my son. Just freaks me out. Also I waited 6 weeks and still had severe pain. Even if there isn't a tear sometimes the muscles may be bruised or spasmed. Plus it's best to wait until you go over birth control with your ob.
